Cannot install wordpress / joomla at root directory

Posted by efid on January 2, 2013 in CMS, Joomla |

When you want to re-install WordPress via fantastico, no one gets the constraints. There was an error message that you have installed in the root directory before. Confused, Galau, sadly, do not know where to turn I asked.

The installation can not be completed:

– You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.

The solution is:

At the time of installation scripts in fantastico, delete the following files

installed_in_root.php

In the folder “. Fantasticodata” and the folder contained in the home directory or parallel to the folder “public_html”

NOTE: To Folder “. Fantasticodata” can be seen in the cPanel File Manager, can check the option “Show Hidden Files (dotfiles).” At the time of opening the cPanel File Manager. Or you can use FTP Software that folder. Fantasticodata can find well.

If can not install it in the addon domain should not be removed fle installed_in_root.php, open installed_in_root.php file and delete the domain that is being installed wordpress

sample file contents installed_in_root.php
